Problem Solving
If you experience problems with your Filecamp account, there are a few things you can try.
1. Refresh your browser
A hard refresh clears your browser’s cache for a specific page and loads the latest version. This can fix some site errors, such as pages that do not fully load.
A hard refresh will usually fix this, but occasionally you may need to clear your browser cache completely.
2. Clear browser cache
In rare cases, your browser may store old versions of Filecamp code and images in its cache, which can cause unexpected results. Please see this guide to clear your browser cache.
3. Try incognito or private mode
Opening Filecamp in an incognito or private browser window can help determine whether the issue is caused by cached data, cookies, or browser extensions. Please see this guide to learn how to open your browser in incognito or private mode.
4. Keep your browser updated
As we add new features and enhancements, older browser versions may not support these new standards. Keeping your browser updated to the newest version will improve security and provide the best Filecamp experience.
5. Plugin, add-on, or extension conflict
If your browser is having trouble running Filecamp normally, you may need to disable one or more installed browser extensions to resolve the issue.
6. Email delivery issues
If you do not receive the system-generated emails or notifications you expect from Filecamp, start by checking your spam filters and junk folder. If you still have problems, read more here.
7. Check Filecamp Status
Check the Filecamp Status page for live and historical data on overall system performance. If there are any service interruptions, they will be posted there.
